In »Skrillo« verwandelt Brinkmann einen alten Strohschirm zu einem federartigem Kostüm, dem er Gegenstände wie Spazierstöcke und einen
Teppichklopfer hinzufügt. Durch diese Transformation entsteht eine anthropomorphe Figur, die einem Vogel ähnelt. Durch seine Aktionen im Video veranlasst Brinkmann den Betrachter, sich diese Kreatur weiter vorzustellen, wobei die Unschärfe die Grenze zwischen Objekten und Entitäten, Zweck und Verwendung verwischt und dabei selbstbewusst und humorvoll ist.
In »Skrillo«, for example, Brinkmann takes apart an old straw umbrella and reconstructs it into a costume, adding items such as walking sticks and a carpet beater. Through this transformation, Brinkmann creates an anthropomorphic figure resembling a bird. Through his actions in
the video, Brinkmann incites the viewer to continue imagining this creature, which blurs the border between objects and entities, purpose and utilization, at the same time being self-aware and humorous.
