Beschriftung fremd: Auf dem Verso unten rechts nummeriert: "221 [...?]" (Bleistift, beschnitten)
Zwischen 1878 und 1886 wohl von Christian Meyer, dem damaligen Inspektor der Kunsthalle, aus unbekannter Quelle erworben; im ersten handschriftlichen Inventar des Kupferstichkabinetts (ca. 1890) verzeichnet.
