Beschriftung fremd: Auf dem Verso unten rechts bezeichnet: "2.[?] F. P." (Bleistift); rechts davon nummeriert: "173" (Bleistift, unterstrichen)
Zwischen 1878 und 1886 wohl von Christian Meyer, dem damaligen Inspektor der Kunsthalle, aus unbekannter Quelle erworben; im ersten handschriftlichen Inventar des Kupferstichkabinetts (ca. 1890) verzeichnet.
